Our Campuses
Where We Play
FishHawk Premier FC operates across three dedicated facilities serving the FishHawk, Lithia, and Valrico communities. From our home grounds at the FishHawk Sports Complex to additional training and match venues at Randall Middle School and NXTGEN, our campuses are positioned to make youth soccer accessible to families throughout southeast Hillsborough County.
Thor Guard Advanced Warning System
Thanks to the FishHawk Youth Sports Association, the FishHawk Sports Complex uses the Thor Guard Lightning System, an Advanced Warning System, to monitor and detect lightning throughout the entire complex. All players and parents are expected to understand how the Thor Guard system works and follow the rules and regulations the system has put forth.
The Thor Guard system is installed atop our maintenance shed between the main soccer fields and the baseball fields. It detects lightning within a few miles of the complex and alerts everyone in the park when conditions become hazardous and lightning is detected within a 2-mile radius. When lightning is detected, a 15-second warning horn will sound and the strobe lights atop the maintenance building will flash. When it is safe to return to the fields, a 3–5 second horn will sound and the strobe light will turn off.
During Red Alerts, all players are asked to remain in their parent's vehicle until further notice, and parents should be present with their vehicles in the Sports Complex to provide a safe place for their child to wait during weather delays. Waiting under the picnic overhang or outside does not reduce the risk of a lightning strike — the safest possible place during a Red Alert is inside a vehicle.
Players should wait in their vehicles until one of two notifications is received: the sounding of the Thor Guard siren indicating it is safe to be outside (the strobe will also turn off), or a text message from the team manager communicating the cancellation of practice.
Thor Guard Data Reference Guide
A Thor Guard Lightning Prediction System looks at the electrostatic charge of the atmosphere to determine when conditions are favorable for lightning. As the charge in the atmosphere increases, the system raises its alert level accordingly. The display shows several key indicators — here is what each one means:
Typical readings during a developing or approaching storm: LHL = 6–9, DI = 1.6–4.0 (a DI of 3 will trigger Red Alert), AD = 10, FCC = 10–50.
Our Community
Serving Southeast Hillsborough
FishHawk Premier FC draws families from across the southeast corridor of Hillsborough County. Our facilities sit at the heart of the FishHawk community along Fishhawk Boulevard, with an additional venue in Valrico — positioned to serve players from across the suburbs east and south of Brandon.
Whether you live minutes from the FishHawk Sports Complex or are traveling in from Lithia, Riverview, Brandon, or beyond, our campuses are among the most accessible youth soccer venues in the area. We serve a community that values local sport, and we take that responsibility seriously.
If you are searching for youth soccer near FishHawk, Lithia, or the Brandon corridor — you have found the right club.
